My great-grandmother was a sharp-witted woman who was decades ahead of her time, and in many ways this blog pays homage to the brandy drinking woman whose love and guidance shaped the generations of women who followed in her footsteps.  She was quick, brave, and forever honest. 

And she raised her daughters to be the same. Under one house, The Henn House, they each found their own definition of what it meant to be a woman — and what it meant to not only survive, but thrive in the world we live.  And now, each generation to proceed has built off the lessons learned in that house, by the women who came before. 

Descending from a long line of sharp-witted, strong-minded, independent women who tell it like it is, Raised on Hennessy shares the power and beauty in dating, adulting, and looking in the mirror with sheer admiration.
